Sydney Opera House will be one of the venues

Walsh told The Australian Foxtel had joined forces with Nine and Ninemsn to bid for the cross-platform broadcast rights to Al Gore’s July 7 “Live Earth” concerts. “Wherever possible, we’ll buy content for our own service. But where we can’t, we’ll co-operate across the platform,” he said.

The 7/7 concerts, expected to attract a global audience of 2 billion people, will run simultaneously in seven continents. The Sydney Opera House will be one of the venues. (continue to read this article here)
